Fun with Writing is a series of workbooks which aim at making writing easy, fun filled, innovative and less fine motor intensive. In this workbook, the children are introduced to cursive writing which is helpful in improving cognitive, writing & fine motor skills. It helps train a child’s brain to integrate visual and tactile information, and fine motor dexterity.
Continuous cursive practice is helpful for the following reasons:
- Continuous writing in cursive form can decrease sequential difficulties.
- Due to continuous practice the child can develop ‘physical memory’ of a word.
- Clears distinction between uppercase and lowercase letters.
- Children are less likely to reverse letters such as ‘b’ and ‘d’ or ‘p’ and ‘q’ because of continuous practice.
